Emergency Contraceptive

The Emergency Contraceptive Pill (ECP) can be taken to prevent pregnancy up to 72 hours after unprotected sex.

Accessing the pill

The process of accessing the ECP is simple. Appointments are not required and you can access the ECP without a GP referral. Our accredited pharmacists can prescribe the emergency contraceptive pill after a quick private consultation.

The consultation process is a safeguarding protocol to ensure that the ECP medication is safe for you to use. During the consultation our accredited pharmacist will also chat to you about your contraception and sexual health moving forward, if you want to.
