Safety Information
Clinicians PMT Cycle Balance is generally considered well tolerated with no adverse effects expected at the dose recommended. Chaste tree has been associated with an itchy rash, however this side effect is considered rare. Precautions & Contraindications.
Clinicians PMT Cycle Balance is best not taken in conjunction with progesterone drugs and hormone replacement therapy due to the chaste tree content. However, chaste tree in low doses is considered safe when used in conjunction with the oral contraceptive pill.¶
Due to ginkgo content, individuals about to undergo surgery are advised to stop taking Clinicians PMT Cycle Balance 5-7 days prior to surgery due to a possible risk of increased bleeding during or after surgery. Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Suitable in pre-conception, but discontinue when pregnant or breastfeeding. Drug Interactions: Avoid with anticoagulant, antiplatelet and anticonvulsant medications. Stop taking 5-7 days prior to surgery.
